Now is the time to ship. Seth Godin said it best--it doesn't really exist until you ship it. And now is the time to be at your most productive to get ready for the rebound. It may not come for awhile--and it may come unevenly, but it's on the way.
And your competitors are getting ready. They're getting ready with programs, with plans, with promotions to get their customers back and yours as well. They're updating their websites, writing new content, talking about the "new normal"--you name it, they're doing it.
At least you should act that way--whether they are or arent.
The point is that now is the time to pedal down and get the most from your team. Yes this work from home plan is less than ideal--far from it. And the pressure to be even more productive than before is huge. But that's different from being on your front foot vs. your back foot. Make sure your team is on their front foot and thinking about what happens AFTER this crisis is over. Get your plans together and ship product, ship content, ship ads, ship it--even if it sits on the loading dock, all you have to do is hit "send" and it will be out there for your customers and prospects to consume.
